ANGELA (Belgium)

FIRST PRIZE 2006 !
Within 2 years, Angela set herself as one of the most wanted girl DJs in Brussels.
Her career began after a remarkable set at the first edition of the
Girly DJ Contest 2004, where she won the 3rd prize and a faithful audience! Her energizing style mixing electro-house, deep and minimal raises enthusiasm, which was confirmed during Contest 2005 where she got a real ovation, not to mention the public prize.

ANNE ANDERSON (Germany)

Anne Anderson, of Frankfurt, manages to mesmerise her audience like no other. With roots in the detroit style, industrial and electronic music, she found her way to club-able electronic dance music towards the end of the 90s. Her hot sets have electrified her loyal fans thoughout Germany ever since. As a producer she works closely with labels such as Pharmacom and Supersix.

FADY ONE (Belgium)

PUBLIC PRIZE 2006 !
Fady One first got to DJing by chance : in 2004 friends introduce her to the Girly DJ Contest whereas she didn't really mixed vinyl records. She gets second place according to public votes! After that, she keeps on mixing at the Girly Mondays, then at Soixante, and soon imposes herself in numerous parties such as Catclub or Phonotherapy. For her, the most important is her selection, a sensual and energic electrohouse which no-one can ignore.

INSHARA (Belgium)

SECOND PRIZE 2006 !
Inshara comes from Liege. Soon she gets a crush on her vinyl records, and therefore participates to several contests, gets more and more gigs with a mix of electro and techno. Resident DJ since 2005 at the E
lectronic Lesson parties, she recently could be heard at Pulp (Luxemburg).

MIMIDUS (Belgium)

Mimidus first got attention of the audience at Girly DJ Contest 2005 where she produced a pertinent selection of smooth minimal electro. Resident DJ at the Girly Mondays, she was also really appreciated at the Belgian Lesbian & Gay Pride 2006 at Ancienne Belgique.

MISS ELORAK (Belgium)

THIRD PRIZE 2006 EXAEQUO !
Professional DJ since more 10 years, Miss Elorak is not to be presented any more.
In 1993, she met Popane, Little-Pat and D-Jack (D-Jacking-Zone). it's definitely him who pushes her in the right direction: under his impulse, she starts mixing acid and agressive techno, while achieving numerous decorations for events like Rave Explosion or Subground Teknology.

PIPPI LANGSTRUMPF (Italy)

Pippi Langstrumpf  grew up as a riot grrrl in the italian post-punk scene playing noise selections and running fanzines. Inspired by the irony of Jollymusic and the darkside of Clone Records (Rotterdam) she now plays mixes of capricious italo-disco, obscure electro and old school techno that reveals her interests in horror movies and 80s vinyls. Her style is simply different, with a slight touch of humor.

STELLA MAY (Germany)

Coming from Dresden, Stella May plays since 4 years in different clubs or techno parties all over Germany. Her selection covers every influences of electro music. Her mixing construction is simple but very sharp. To be discovered!

TRICK-C (Slovenia)

Trick-C is one of the few longstanding Djanes in Slovenia. Succombing to the sound of electronic music in 1992, her first DJ sets raised a fervent audience to its feet. Today she is working under the name Caan Production. Her objective is to connect promoters and organisers, institute Dj and DJane exchanges, and organise parties. Her music repertoire includes progressive, tech-house, tribal and driving souds.
